The FBC Camp Classic is not about golf ... it's about changed lives.

The Camp Classic Golf Tournament is more than just a day of golf. It is about seeing children and students experience life change at camps hosted by the children’s, middle school, and high school ministries; trained as leaders at Student Leadership University conferences for our high school and college students; and bringing the hope of Christ all over the world through mission trips for middle school, high school, and college students. Fortunately, we are able to use the Camp Classic as a social event for members and friends of our church, but that is not why this golf tournament exists. All of the funds raised from the Camp Classic are used to offer scholarships so students can attend trips that will help them grow spiritually and bring the gospel to people all over the world.

Some of the ways the Camp Classic is making a difference this year includes...

- Supporting a team of college students on a Spring Break mission trip.
- Providing for college students going on individual mission trips worldwide.
- Supporting high school and college students through four levels of Student Leadership University, the nation's premiere student leadership training seminar.  In 2013, First Baptist will send students to SLU 301 in England and France and SLU 101 in Orlando, FL.
- Providing scholarship assistance for middle and high school students and children to attend life-changing summer camps.

If you would like to make a donation to the Camp Classic or would like more information about how your business can be a sponsor, please call the church office office at 803-256-4251.  As we play golf and raise money for this kingdom building cause, our desire is that Jesus Christ would be glorified through the lives that will continue to be touched because of this great event.
