Children are precious at First.
Taking to heart Jesus’ own love for children, First seeks to provide a comprehensive, caring ministry to children and their parents. Through a broad range of programming, children experience acceptance, engage in learning, enjoy themselves, and express their faith.
To best meet their needs, babies and toddlers are grouped developmentally until age two, at which time they are grouped by birth date and promoted annually. Clean, safe classrooms with age-appropriate equipment and toys are provided. In addition, classrooms are staffed with well-trained teachers and volunteers, all of whom are members of First. For the safety of children, background checks are completed on all adults serving in our classrooms and a security identification system is used for the dropping off and picking up of children.
Children ages Kindergarten - 5th Grade enjoy an action–-packed service that incorporates large group atmosphere with relationship building and small group application activities. During the large group portion of the service, the children are taught an application –based Bible story presented in a moving animated format, watch a drama/skit that brings to life the Main point for the day, sing songs and play lesson– oriented games. All of this occurs in an action–-packed hour that's sure to have your kids excited to return the next week!
