God’s Word is our greatest resource for making wise financial decisions. Harold Weaver
will lead in a study of what we can learn from the Bible about stewardship and how to make
the best use of it. Harold is an ordained minister, a retired National Bank Examiner with the
Comptroller of the Currency, and a bank consultant. He brings his gifts together to give
spiritual guidance on issues we face daily.



PART 2: PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS 
Fundamental Cash Management and Household Budgeting

 

 

Leader: Rev. Richard Johnson
Studies show that money is the one thing couples say they argue most about in marriage. 
It’s not easy dealing with financial budgeting issues in our materialistic culture.  This
workbook-based participatory course will help sort through practical applications in wise
budgeting and money management.  Richard is First Baptist Church Business Administrator
and a CPA.  He and his wife, Janice, have six children.

Leader: Ronald K. Wilson

Scripture tells us if we fail to provide for our own, we are worse than an unbeliever
(1 Timothy 5:8). Wise retirement planning is critical to meeting our future financial needs.
Ron is a Registered Investment Advisor. He is Vice-President - Investments for UBS
Financial Services. Additionally, he is licensed for health, life, and long-term care insurance
as well as variable life and annuities.

Leader, Rev. Keith Marion
Understanding how to work through the practical steps of estate planning. As a ministry to First Baptist
members, Keith marion or Richard Johnson will offer free confidential counseling on developing your estate
plan. This can avoid costly planning time in the attorney's office and it gives you a better opportunity to consider
the various opportunities of stewardship. Keith is Senior Vice President for Operation and Developments
at Columbia International University.
